Wagner Wins Close One On Center Hill Lake

SPARTA, Tenn. – In almost a photo finish where less than three ounces separated the top four anglers, Adam M. Wagner edged out the competition to win the Boater Division in the American Bass Anglers Open Series, Presented by Caymas Boats, Tennessee Central Division 3 tournament, held March 26, 2022 on Center Hill Lake.

Launching at Ragland Bottoms Marina in Sparta, the Cookeville angler brought in a 5-bass tournament limit weighing 15.59 pounds. For the win, Wagner collected $1,200.

Carper Jumps Way Out In Front At Percy Priest

MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. – Brian Carper put in a hot early run to seal the Boater Division victory in the American Bass Anglers Open Series, Presented by Caymas Boats, Tennessee Central Division 3 season opener, held Feb. 19, 2022, on Percy Priest Reservoir.

Running out of Fate Sanders Marina in Mount Juliet, Tenn. to fish the 14,200-acre impoundment, the Murfreesboro Tenn. angler brought in a 5-bass tournament limit for 19.92 pounds for nearly a 4-pound average. Carper won the tournament by more than seven pounds.

Tennessee Central Division 3 Begins Season on Percy Priest

ATHENS, Ala. – Tennessee Central Division 3 of the American Bass Anglers Open Series, Presented by Caymas Boats, begins its new season Feb. 19, 2022, on Percy Priest Reservoir southeast of Nashville.

The anglers will run out of Fate Sanders Marina, located at 3157 Weakley Lane in Mount Juliet, Tenn. Competitors can fish anywhere in the 14,200-acre reservoir outside the tournament marina area.

Edel Wins Second Stop in Central Tennessee
 

ATHENS, Al. –Brandon Edel of Hendersonville, Tn won the Bass Pro Shop Open Series Central Tennessee second stop, held April 24th on Old Hickory Lake.  Running out of Flippers Bait and Tackle, Gallatin Tn. Brandon brought back 5-fish that locked in the scales at 15.65-lbs. For the Boater Division victory, Brandon Edel took home a check for $1500 for his win.

Nash takes Central Tennessee Opener

ATHENS, Al. –Anthony W. Nash of Quebeck, TN won the opening event in the Tennessee Central Division of the Bass Pro Shop Open Series March 13th on Center Hill Lake.  Launching out of Ragland Bottom in Sparta, Tenn. Anthony Nash weighed in a limit for 23.71lbs to secure first place on the boater side.

Tennessee Central Division 3 Opens at Center Hill

ATHENS, Al. –  The Tennessee Central Division Bass Pro Shops Open Series Season Opener will be March 13,2021 on Center Hill Lake going out of Ragland Bottom. 

This event is earlier than the 2020 event and should produce better and heaver stringers with temps forecast to be in the mid-50s and warming to the upper 60s.  Last year’s Center Hill event was won by boater Hunter Boldin from McMinnville TN with 15.04 pounds catching is limit on a swim bait.  The co-angler winner was Dean Hesse from Brandenburg KY with 7.64 lbs.

Ethan Mungle Takes the win on Old Hickory

Ethan Mungle of Lafayette, TN won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series tournament held July 25th 2020.  Running out of Flippers in Gallatin, TN Ethan brought back an impressive 5-fish limit locked in the scales at 21.09-lbs.  Ethan also took big bass honors for the boaters with beautiful 5.86-lb large mouth.  He took home $2,200 for his first-place finish and an additional $380 for big fish.

The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Central Tennessee Open Series made its 3rd stop on Old Hickory Lake at Flippers with 44 boaters and 27 co-anglers. Finishing in 1st place with 5 fish weighing 15.98 lbs. was Adam Wagner winning $2,300. He caught his fish flipping boat docks and a square bill crankbait.

Tennessee Central To Old Hickory

June 15, 2020, Athens, AL. June 20 ABA and Bass Pro Shops will host a Open Series tournament on Old Hickory Lake out of Gallatin, TN. This is the second for the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Tennessee Centrail Division will be held. The tournament will launch out of Flippers Bait and Tackle, 200 Odoms Bend Rd. Gallatin, TN, 37066.

In June of 2018, Tim Messer of Hendersonville,TN brought five-fish to the scales weighing in at 17.15-pounds with a kicker fish of 4.84-pounds.  For his victory, he took home a check of $5000.

Hunter Bouldin Takes the win on Center Hill

ATHENS, Ala. – The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Central Tennessee Open Series held its second Tournament of the season on Center Hill at Ragland Bottom. Hunter Bouldin took 1st place for the Boaters with 5 fish weighing 15.04 lbs. He took home $2,300 for his 1st place finish. Hunter also landed the biggest bass for the boaters with a nice 3.84lb bass, he took home an additional $420 for that fish. He caught his fish swim baits and Carolina rigging and flipping.

Center Hill Double Header

May 6, 2020, Athens, AL. May 16 and 17 ABA will host a special doubleheader weekend for central Tennessee on Center Hill Lake in Sparta, TN. On Saturday, the second Bass Pro Shops Open Series Central Tennessee Division tournament will be held. On Sunday, the second Bass Pro Shops Open Triton Team Tour for Central Tennessee will be held. Both events will launch from Ragland Bottoms Launch at Ragland Bottom Rd. Sparta, Tennessee 38583.

Duane Wardlaw Takes the win on Percy Priest

ATHENS, Ala. – The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Central Tennessee Open Series Tournament kicked off on Percy Priest Lake at Fate Sanders Ramp with 47 boaters and 28 co-anglers. Finishing in 1st place Boater with 5 fish weighing 20.44 lbs. was Duane Wardlaw winning $2,400. He caught his fish using an Alabama Rig. Duane also landed the biggest bass for the boaters with a nice 8.35-lb beauty, earning him an extra $460.
