Maryland Division 21 Headed to The Potomac ATHENS, Ala. – The Maryland Division of the Bass Pro Shops Open Series operated by American Bass Anglers will hold its first event of the season on March 13, 2021 on The Potomac River out of Marbury MD, 20658. With weather forecasted to be in the mid-50s at Saturday morning at sendoff and in the 60s during the day could produce some heavy weight stringers. In the first event last season Robert Henderson from King George VA took first place boater honors with a weight of 13.91 pounds and Timothy Adams of Powder Springs GA topped the co-angler side with 8.04 pounds. |
Hamilton Wins The Potomac River Regional Bill Hamilton of Huntington, MD won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series regional on the Potomac River on 9/12/13 2020. Running out of Smallwood State Park Hamilton weighed in five bass weighing 10.82 pounds on day one.
