Bass Pro Shops Open Series Saturday & Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour Sunday

April 27, 2020, Athens, AL. The second event of the season for the Bass Pro Shops Open Series North Alabama Open Series will be held on Neely Henry on May 5th out of Coosa Landing in Gadsden, AL.

Kent Keys of Anniston, AL, is currently leading in the division after his 19.60 pounds win on Guntersville Lake in February. Kent pocketed $5,000 for first place and another wad of cash for big bass.

Paul Tidwell of Horton, AL, has high hopes for the Neely Henry tournament. “We are all ready to get back out there and compete”, said Tidwell. “Neely Henry is a really fun lake to fish and last year it took 20 pounds to win. I’m expecting weights to be even better this year. The fish have had a lot less pressure than normal, so I’m expecting everyone to catch fish”, concluded Tidwell.
This is a two for one weekend with the Saturday Bass Pro Shops Open Series event and Sunday the Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour. Both events are on Neely Henry and out of Coosa Landing.

The Bass Pro Shops Open Series is a Pro-Am format, and the Bass Pro Shops Triton Team Tour is a Team format. Anglers can sign up for one of both events.
