Beck wins Divisional Championship on Russell

May 7, 2023 Elberton, GA. Division 25 South Carolina - Northwest anglers fish their two-day divisional championship on Lake Russell launching from Highway 72 ramp between Elberton, GA and Calhoun Falls, SC. on Saturday to kick off the beginning of the end of our 2023 season.

Jayme Rampey Wins on Hartwell

April 16, 2023, Hartwell, GA. South Carolina anglers had a rainy start to a day of fishing. Jayme Rampey of Liberty, SC won the American Fishing Tour Division 25- South Carolina Northwest tournament held April 16, 2023, on Lake Hartwell with five bass that weighed 21.96 lb.

Burroughs Wins on Clarks Hill!

April 02, 2023, McCormick, SC. Thirty-four anglers came to the scales today, but at the finish it was Jason Burroughs of Hodges, SC who won the American Fishing Tour Division 25 - South Carolina Northwest tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Dorn Fishing Facility near McCormick, SC. Jason brought back five fish that locked in the scales at 17.32 lb. anchored by a 5.50 lb. kicker largemouth. For the victory Burroughs took home a nice first place plaque and $738 cash. He also took down the first place option pot for another $186, bringing his total winnings to $924.

March 19, 2023 Elberton, GA. 42 South Carolina Division 25 American Fishing Tour anglers launched from Highway 72 ramp between Elberton, GA and Calhoun Falls, SC. Thirty-three of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed, Jason Burroughs from Hodges, SC, took the victory with five spotted bass that hit the scales with a total weight of 17.36lb.

February 26, 2023, Hartwell, GA. Fifty-eight anglers came out for an unseasonably warm day of fishing, but at the end of the day it was Jayme Rampey of Liberty, SC who won the American Fishing Tour Division 25- South Carolina Northwest tournament presented by American Bass Anglers.

Tony Holiday takes First 2023 Win on Clarks Hill

January 08, 2023, McCormick, SC. Forty-nine anglers battled muddy water and floating debris to find feeding fish. Tony Holliday of Piedmont, SC brought back five-fish that locked in the scales at 13.49 lb. His limit was anchored by a 4.81 lb. kicker largemouth.

Russell Clark Wins on Russell

December 18, 2022, Elberton, GA. It was below freezing when our 40 anglers launched from Highway 72 ramp between Elberton, GA and Calhoun Falls, SC. 24 of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed Russell Clark from Abbeville, SC took the victory with a total weight of 17.23lb.

November 13, 2022, Hartwell, GA. Thirty-four anglers stood against the cold breeze this morning to find a winning combination, but at the finish, it was Joe Anders of Easley, SC who won the American Fishing Tour Division 25- South Carolina Northwest tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Gum Branch Tournament Facility near Hartwell, GA.

Duane Houk wins on Clark's Hill Lake!

October 09, 2022 McCormick, SC, 27 anglers launched from Dorn ramp between McCormick, SC and Lincolnton, GA. 24 of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed Duane Houk from Evans, GA took the victory with 17.08lb. Duane anchored that bag with a 4.97lb largemouth. For the win Houk took home $660 for the first place finish, plus an additional $156 for the first place option pot for a combined total of $816. Great job Duane!

September 18, 2022, Elberton, GA. Donald Beck of Social Circle, GA won the American Fishing Tour Division 25 SC Northwest tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Highway 72 ramp between Elberton and Calhoun Falls, it was 66 degrees when we hit the water for a tough day of fishing, and warmed up to 81 degrees by our 3:00 pm weigh-in. Water temps were in still in the mid-70s to low 80s depending on what part of the lake you were on. Conditions were just right for Donald Beck who brought back five good ones that locked in the scales at 12.95 lbs. For the victory, Beck took home the winner’s trophy and $709 cash, as well as the first-place option pot for another $186, making a grand total of $895. Congratulations Donald on an outstanding finish!

Owen Jepsen takes the win on Lake Russell

Twenty-two anglers competed in the 2021 season opener for AFT D25. The weather started out with temps around 70 degrees with a brief rain shower before blast off and remained mostly cloudy throughout the day. The bite was tough for all but as usual someone figures out a way to catch a few good ones.
