BRAD STALNAKER  WINS  D72 on SINCLAIR

Brad Stalnaker of Eatonton, Ga brought the winning sack weighing 16.43 pounds to the scale at the AFT D72 tournament held March 27, 2022 on Lake Sinclair. He won $796 cash and the first place trophy. Brad also won the optional big bass pot of $410 cash and the Big Bass trophy with a 6.40 pounder. His total winnings for a day of fishing was $1,206! Brad said he caught fish using jigs, swim baits and chatter baits.

Randy Heath of Decatur, GA takes the win for the AFT D72 tournament held March 13, 2022 on Lake Sinclair going out of Dennis Station DNR ramp. Randy took home $522 cash and the first place trophy with a total weight of 17.39 pounds

Carl Hayes of Eatonton, GA takes the win at the AFT D72 tournament held at Lake Sinclair on February 19, 2022. His 5 bass weighed 17.99 pounds to take the first place trophy and $836 cash.   Carl said he was fishing shallow using spinner baits, jigs, and crank baits.

David Lowery of Milledgeville, Ga takes the win at the AFT D72 event held on February 6, 2022 on Lake Oconee running out of Sugar Creek Marina. He brought 18.11 pounds to the scale to take home $432 cash. David likes to fish docks with Big Bite Baits.

MIKE BLACKSHEAR  WINS  D72 on OCONEE

Mike Blackshear of Macon, Ga takes another win for the AFT D72 on January 30, 2022. It was a cold day on Lake Oconee for the 30 anglers braving the winter cold front which postponed the tournament until Sunday. Mike brought a 5 bass limit to the scale weighing 16.67 pounds to take the first place trophy and $680 cash. Mike used jigs in 10' to 20' water and said he had his limit by 10:30 am.

Les Charles of Milledgeville, GA took home the first place trophy and $813 cash for his 5 bass limit totaling 15.92 pounds at the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tournament held on November 27, 2021 at Lake Sinclair.  Les said he caught his fish flipping docks with a homemade jig.

DAVID LOWERY WINS D72 AOY and 2-Day Championship

David Lowery of Milledgeville, GA becomes the 2021 Angler of the Year for D72 after winning the 2-Day Championship held on June 5 & 6 at Lakes Sinclair and Oconee.  He was in the lead after day 1 with a 5 bass limit weighing 20.87 pounds,anchored by a 6.07 pounder.   His day 2 limit was 14.20 pounds, which put him first on the leader board with a total weight of 35.07 pounds!

Brian Garner of Locust Grove, GA brought the winning sack totaling 15.72 pounds to the scale at the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour held May 22, 2021 on Lake Oconee.  Brian took home $745 cash and the first place trophy for his 5 bass limit. He anchored his sack with a 5.03 pounder to take home additional cash of $360 for the optional big bass pot, and the Big Bass trophy.  Brian said he was fishing mid lake pockets and docks, using a frog and shaky head.

Lance Collins of Monticello, GA took home the first place trophy and cash winnings of $801 at the D72 Bass Pro ShopsFishing Tournament held on May 8, 2021 on Lake Sinclair.  Lance said he was fishing shallow with a frog and shaky head to catch his limit of 5 bass weighing a total of 12.37 pounds.

GRANT KELLY Wins D72 on SINCLAIR

Grant Kelly of Milledgeville, GA brought an awesome weight of 18.00 pounds to the scale with his 5 bass limit at the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tournament held April 25, 2021 on Lake Sinclair.  He took home cash winnings of $807 and the First Place trophy.  Kelly was fishing a shad spawn with a spinnerbait and a new Snag Proof frog that will be released at the Bassmaster's Classic in June.  After the shad spawn was over, he flipped docks with a black and blue jig.

Les Charles of Milledgeville, GA brought the winning sack of 5 bass weighing 17.44 pounds to the scale at the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour held March 13, 2021 on Lake Sinclair. He took home $755 cash and the first place trophy.   Les said he was using a home made jig on docks.  He anchored his sack with a 4.83 pounder.

David Lowery of Milledgeville, GA won the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tournament held on March 7, 2021 running out of Sugar Creek Marina on Lake Oconee. He brought the winning sack of five bass to the scale weighing 18.70 pounds.  David took home $667 cash and the first place trophy. He said he was using a Big Bite Baits BFE.
