Chris Smith Takes the win on Koronis

Chris Smith won the American Fishing Tour District 44 tournament held on Kronis Lake near Paynesville, MN. Chris brought back a 5 fish limit that locked in the scales at 18.36 pounds anchored by a 4.31 Big Bass.

Bob Schill Takes the win on Washington

On 8/1/21 out of Dassel, MN, Bob Schill of Ramsey, MN won the American Fishing Tour District 44 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of the public access near Dassel Bob brought back 5 Smallmouth bass that locked in the scales at 17.89 lbs. anchored by a 4.84 kicker. For the victory, Bob took home a check for $543.

Arnold Helgerson Takes the win on Clearwater

Arnold Helgerson of Blaine, MN won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour D44 tournament held June 7th on Lake Clearwater. Running out of BJ’s Bait ramp Arnold brought back a 5-fish limit that locked in the scales at 16.93-lbs. anchored by a 4.75-lb kicker. For the win, he took home $539.

Chris Smith Takes the win on Waconia

Chris Smith of North Branch. MN won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour D44 tournament held June 28, 2020 on Waconia. Running out of East County Park Ramp Chris brought back an impressive five-fish limit that locked in the scales at 23.13-lbs. For his efforts, he took home a check for $620.

New “Big Bass” Record for AFT D44

During an AFT D44 event on Lake Waconia located in the west metro area of the Twin Cities in early August, Bob Schill of Ramsey, Minnesota caught, weighted, and released a record breaking largemouth weighing 6.91 pounds.
