Chris Weber wins Two Day ATHENS, Ala. – Chris Weber won the two-day Bass Pro American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers, Connecticut Division 6 final two-day tournament, held on Lake Lillinonah and Lake Zoar. Chris was the only angler to limit out both days for a total of 19.56 pounds which also included a 3.83 largemouth for the big fish of the event. For the victory, Weber took home $972.00 for both awards. |

Tom Dupuis Wins on Lake Zoar ATHENS, Ala. – Tom Dupuis from Terryville Connecticut won the Bass Pro American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers, Connecticut Division 6 tournament, held on Lake Zoar. Tom caught a limit of both smallmouth and largemouth for a total weight of 11.16 pounds with all of them coming on various top-water baits throughout the day. For the win Tom collected $401.00. |
Mark Watkins wins D6 Two Day and AOY ATHENS, Al. – Mark Watkins won the two day shortened Bass Pro American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers, Connecticut Division 6 tournament, held on Lake Lillinonah. Mark only caught three largemouth for 11.13 pounds, but they were the right ones. With that win Mark also became the Division 6 Angler of the Year for the second year in a row. For the victory he took home $674.00 in cash. |

Winning his first event for this year Tom caught a 5 bass limit for a total weight of 11.66 pounds which also include the big fish of the day with a 3.62 largemouth. Tom said he caught his fish on a senko and devils horse top water bait. For the win he took home $328.00 for both awards. |

Winning his second event for this year Gerald caught a 5 bass limit for a total weight of 11.33 pounds for the win. He said he caught his two biggest fish off a deep water bluff drop. For the win he took home $451.00.00.00 in cash. |
Don Philpot Wins on Lillinonah ATHENS, Al. – Don Philpot from Shohola PA won the Bass Pro American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers, Connecticut Division 6 tournament, held on Lake Lillinonah on 10 July 2021. Winning his first event for this year Don caught 4 bass for a total weight of 13.33 pounds for the win. Included was 5.88 largemouth which proved to be the big fish of the day. He said he caught his fish on a multi colored spinnerbait. For both awards he took home $476 in cash. |

Dave Cangro Wins on Candlewood Lake ATHENS, Al. – Dave Cangro from Nesconset NY won the Bass Pro American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers, Connecticut Division 6 tournament, held on Lake Zoar on 1 May 2021. On an extremely tough day with cold and windy conditions, Dave could only finesse three smallmouth for a total weight of 6.15 pounds, but it was good enough for the win and worth $406.00. |

He said he caught his fish mainly on Yum soft plastic craws fished in 5 to 10 feet of water. For the victory, he took home $802.00 in cash. |

Running out of the Salmon River launch ramp Tom caught 4 bass weighing 7.86 pounds. He said he caught all his fish by working a bladed jig through the shallow water eelgrass and weeds. For the victory, he took home $337.00 in cash. |
John Ogolik wins on Lake Zoar ATHENS, Ala. – John Ogolik from Terryville Connecticut won the Bass Pro American Fishing Tour presented by American Bass Anglers, Connecticut Division 6 tournament, held on Lake Zoar. Running out of the State launch ramp John caught a five fish limit of largemouth weighing 11.64 pounds. He said he caught his fish flipping jigs and plastics into weeds and cover anywhere from 2 to 14 feet of water. For the victory, he took home $401.00 in cash. |
