Aspirations or goals with fishing
Guess my aspirations would be to just to learn as much as I can & be as good as an ambassador to the sport as I can. As far as goals I really don''t have any set goals. I just try to do as well as possible in any tourney im fishing.
Favorite way to fish
My strenth as angler is power fishing. I just feel at home with flipping stick in my hand
Most exciting fishing experience
I've been blessed with so many exciting experiences thats hard to choose but maybe would either be making Bass Federation state team or Winning AOY in Bass Champs & fishing for team USA in the USA vs Mexico at Lake Guerra Mexico.
How Danny preps for a tournament
I used to spend at lot more time getting ready than I do now. Now days I just check my Tackle & boat night before tourney & get as much rest as possible.
Three favorite search baits
crankbait, rattletrap & frog
Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.
I have been blessed & won a few & thanked God for showing me favor. My biggest weight came on flipping jig & big worm & most fun win came on frog. Hard to beat the ole frog bite as far as excitement goes.
Most challenging part of tournament fishing
Knowing when to make a change or sticking with it
When tournaments don't go my way
learn from it & move on
Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:
Spend as much time on water & learning from it. Keep open mind & open ears.
Be respectful of others on the water
