How Duane started fishing

Started fishing at a young age with my uncle.I joined a bass club called Fishn Tradition.


Aspirations or goals with fishing

My goal is to continue to get better an progress into during this fulltime.


Favorite way to fish

Finesse fishing.Because if I can't catch them on anything else I know I will that way.


Most exciting fishing experience

It would have to be on 2004 when I placed in my first major tournament

 


How Duane preps for a tournament

I start by reading any information I can. Then start figuring out my tackle.


Three favorite search baits

It would be a finesse worm,spinnerbaits,crankbaits/rat l trap


Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

My best finish would be lake Palestine.I was throwing a manns minus1.


Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Figuring out the fish.


When tournaments don't go my way

I learn from the things that happen during the tournament.I chalk it up as a don't do this again tournament.

 


Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Don't be afraid to go after your dream.
