What you should know about Keith:

From Ft. Lauderdale Fl  I love Free Diving Spearfishing

How Keith started fishing

Fished Offshore Saltwater since I was 2yrs old and Saltwater Tournaments. Started fishing ABA in 2001 my neighbor told me about Co angler format in Open and Weekend Series

Aspirations or goals with fishing

To fish new lakes , meet new people and techniques

Favorite way to fish

Shallow either with a War Eagle Spinnerbait or Rapala DT 3 Its  where I feel most confident

Most exciting fishing experience

Fishing with my Grandfather offshore learning from him And watching my daughter fight big Mahi offshore on 20lb spinning tackel. ABA fishing Championship at Lake Dardanelle

How Keith preps for a tournament

Read old reports , check Water clarity and change lures about every hour up to Tournament only to fish with the same 6 lures I started with.

Three favorite search baits

War Eagle Spinnerbait , Rapala DT 3 Flat ( no longer made) and Home made inline Buzz Bait

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

2018 1st twice one tournament Rattel Trap Echo and other Missle Bait Warlock with Strike King Gamehawg

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

As Co angler trying to figure out how to catch fish from back of the boat

When tournaments don't go my way

I keep a journal of all Lakes , Time of yr, Temp , Water Clarity , Wind / sun conditions that I fish either on my own or tournaments and what worked / what didn’t. Hopefully next time I am able to narrow down quicker the bait needed

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

As Co Angler treat your angler with respect and be quick with the net and your boater will be your biggest asset.

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

I use the “KISS” technique “Keep it simple stupid” when in doubt throw War Eagle Spinnerbait
