When tournaments don't go my way

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Go as a non-boater for a year and fish with as many different people as you can . That will show you many different ways to fish and you can learn.

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

Keep it simple and learn a few techniques, trying to learn every way to fish can be overwhelming. Then practice those techniques in the spring when fish hit everthing to give you confidents with type of fishing.
