What you should know about Jason:

I'm a very to the point type person who treats everyone with respect and tries to be the best that I can in everything I set out to accomplish.

How Jason started fishing

I've been fishing all of my life and finally decided 2 years ago to look for a greater challenge and to broaden my knowledge of the sport by learning from others.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

I just want to become better every year and see what the future has in store for me by hard work.

Favorite way to fish

I love to power fish because of the fast pace and excitement of the not knowing what each cast may bring you.

Most exciting fishing experience

How Jason preps for a tournament

I study every body of water prior to tournament times whether it be season or local conditions of the lake. Finding fish is always key, the catching part is the easiest part to me.

Three favorite search baits

Spro Little John, Lipless baits and a Buzz bait.

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

I finished 16 on Lake Seminole, but was proud since it was my first time on the water and went strictly by instincts instead of trying to follow everyone else.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Fishing against Local competitors that know the water like the back of their hand.

When tournaments don't go my way

I take it in stride and always try to learn for the next time around. I always try to stay positive and just remember "Its only fishing"

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Hone techiques of all types and don't be afraid to learn new things from seasoned fisherman.
