What Justin does for a living:

Sale's manager and when not working I'm either fishing and playing golf! Life is short make it count.

What you should know about Justin:

Very competitive

How Justin started fishing

My father introduced me to fishing when I was in diapers. Truly grateful for all the trips and memories we have made over 31 years. Nothing better than getting a line wet and feeling that tug.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

become a better angler. diversify fishing styles and techniques . Would love to fish tournaments all over the nation

Favorite way to fish

Man that's tough love pretty much every style, really just geared towards whatever the fish are doing. Throwing a jerk bait is pretty high up there on my list. Nothing better than top water blowups though. So love walking a frog or plug. Finesse when necessary, I like to cover water fast to find em, usually with throw a swim bait or crank to locate then dial in what they are doing. flipping and punching heavy cover for those Gorditas.

Most exciting fishing experience

How Justin preps for a tournament

Prep all my rods and reels night before, make sure all line is good and tie on whatever I know I'm going to be throwing in the a.m. , organize tackle and restock if needed. Try to sleep lol but I'm like a kid on Xmas Eve.

Three favorite search baits

Swimbait, DT6 or DT10, SwimJig

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

TIME

When tournaments don't go my way

Sometimes that's just how it goes, but usually will try things I usually don't throw and or for that time of season or day. Will make waypoints of spots to come back and check.

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Have fun! Make friends, pay attention you can learn a wealth of knowledge from some of the guys
