I started fishing at the age of 7 and at 9, I started fishing team tournaments with my father Mike Clark.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

I want to be the best person and angler, I can be. Whatever level of the sport, I compete at!

Favorite way to fish

Love to Flip and Throw a Swimbait

Most exciting fishing experience

Catching a 10.25 Largemouth at Lake Falcon 2009 and 6.17 Smallmouth at Lake Tenkiller 2019 both PB's!

How Jeff preps for a tournament

Practice, practice, practice, you will never be to good. Let the fish tell you what they are wanting. Dont get caught up with dock talk and what you think, they should be doing on that particular day.

Three favorite search baits

Swimbait, Crankbait, Swim Jig

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Winning 2017 FLW Tour Event at Lake Cumberland and 2018 XFL at Lake Fort Gibson.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

In my regional area its changing weather conditions.

When tournaments don't go my way

Shake it off, move on to the next one! Learn from any mistakes made during the day.

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

NEVER ever stop learning, just when you think you know enough, you will be left behind! Tournment fishing is a great compitive sport but the greatest thing about it is the people you meet along the way.

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

I love to throw an old school Texas rigged worm, take a 1/4 weight, 4 EWG hook, 7in Power Worm, 15lb line. It will catch bass anywhere in the US!
