How Jesse started fishing

Aspirations or goals with fishing

TO CONTINUE GETTING BETTER WITH EACH EVENT I FISH AND TO LEAD A CHRISTIAN LIFE IN ALL THAT I DO

Favorite way to fish

PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO SAY CAROLINA RIG

Most exciting fishing experience

1ST BASS TOURNAMENT I EVER FISHED WAS A BIG BASS TOURNAMENT ON LAKE OF THE PINES 1ST MORNING I HOOKED A FEW BUT ENDED UP WITH ONE THAT WENT 6.315 ONLY TO BE BEAT OUT IN THE HOUR BY A 6.335

How Jesse preps for a tournament

I WATCH VIDEOS ON YOU TUBE I LOOK AT MAPS AND HOTSPOTS AND GO OVER MY DATA THAT I HAVE ACCUMULATED PREFISHING THAT LAKE. I USUALLY BUILD A GAMEPLAN IN THE AREA THAT I WANT TO FISH TO MAXIMIZE MY TIME WITH A HOOK IN THE WATER. I TRY TO AVOID RUNNING AROUND VERY MUCH

Three favorite search baits

SQUAREBILL, SPINNERBAIT, FLASHY SPINNER WITH SMALL SWIM BAIT

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

ABA AT LAKE OF THE PINES IN JUNE I THINK I FINISHED IN 13TH OR SO MY COANGLER THAT DAY BEAT ME TO A COUPLE OF FISH THAT WOULD HAVE PUT ME AROUND 20LBS OR SO I WAS HAPPY FOR HIM AND IM GLAD THE GAMEPLAN I PUT TOGETHER FOR THAT TOURNAMENT WORKED OUT WE STAYED IN 1 AREA PRIMARILY ALL DAY

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

WORRYING ABOUT THINGS YOU CANNOT CONTROL AND REMEMBERING YOUR FISHING AGAINST YOUR FISH NOT SOMEONE ELSES

When tournaments don't go my way

LOL I USUALLY SPEND MONEY ON TACKLE!!!! IT BOTHERS ME TO NO END WHEN I GET SKUNKED ON A LAKE OR DONT CATCH MANY FISH ILL SPEND ALOT OF TIME RESEARCHING AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

START OUT AS A CO ANGLER IN ABA, FLW, OR BASS OPENS. IT WILL REALLY HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND FISHING IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

TIE ON A BIG 3/4 OZ WEIGHT TO A CAROLINA RIG AND DRAG IT IN CERTAIN AREAS YOU HAVE GRAPHED SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT GRASS FEELS LIKE VS WOOD VS ROCK
