What Truck, Boat and Outboard does Daniel run?

My Sponsors

No I currently do not have sponsors though I have been Tournoment fishing my whole life I've never tried to get sponsers

What Daniel does for a living:

I lay asphalt and sometimes concrete. Majority of the time we lay aspaht

What you should know about Daniel:

How Daniel started fishing

I started when I was about 5 years old Tournoment fishing with my grandpa. He taught me everything I know about this sport and I can' thank him enough for getting me into this

Aspirations or goals with fishing

My goal is to one day fish the bassmasters and run an gun with the elite

Favorite way to fish

My comfort zone would have to be with a jig in my hand that' when I feel the most dangerous. But I fish conditions so you really have to be versatile as an angle but especially as a non boater

Most exciting fishing experience

Getting to fish a Tournoment with Fred Roumbanis. I have a lot of respect for him taking what time he doesn't have to compete with me

How Daniel preps for a tournament

I do a lot of research on the contours of the lake in other words the lay out of the lake. Technology is really advanced in over the years so I take advantage of it.

Three favorite search baits

Really just depends on the conditions but a jig, a spinnerbait and a crankbait

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

I have yet to win one but i took 5th in a tournoment that had over 200 boats in it. I caught majority on a top water frog early morning. As the day progressed and the sun came up I switced to a chatter bait and caught a few in the willows

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

It is a mental game. Seeing pictures that other anglers that are in your Tournoment series that are wackin em during pre fishing plays with your mind. I think the most challenging thing about Tournoment fishing is staying confident

When tournaments don't go my way

You win some ya lose some ya know. Me if it goes bad then it just adds fuel to the fire for the next Tournoment

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Get ready for ups and downs. It takes time to succeed. Don' get down on yourself for not starting a series and don' do well at all. Take in all the knowledge you can from other anglers cause no matter how good you are you never know it all

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

Spend as much time on the water as you possible can. Watch YouTube videos they have a lot of great information on techniques and how to use whatever bait you are trying to learn how to use
