What Frederick does for a living:

Owner of FHC Logistics, LLC

What you should know about Frederick:

How Frederick started fishing

Started fishing at a very young age.  I would ride my bike and sneak into all the local ponds.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

Goals are to make to finals.  Ray Scott Cup would be awesome.

Favorite way to fish

I love fishing offshore, Open Waters.  Deep Cranking.  Drop shots.

Most exciting fishing experience

Fished the Bassmasters MegaBucks tournament years ago.  Got to

meet and fish with all my hero.  Rick Clunn.

How Frederick preps for a tournament

Spend a lot of time on Navionics.  Spend time reading past fishing tournament results for the lake I’m going to be fishing.

Three favorite search baits

Drop Shot.   Crank bait.  Buzz Bait

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Finished 31st on St Lawrence River in FLW Costa Northern

Division.  Caught most fish on Spy Bait and Drop Shot.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Travel.  Long miles.  Long days.  Trying to continue to eat healthy and exercise is tough.  But it’s sll worth it.

When tournaments don't go my way

It’s tough.  I take it very seriously but you can’t let it get you down.  You have to remember that it’s not easy.  Fishing is tough.  It’s tjose days when everything goes right and you tear the fish up.  That’s what keeps me going.

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Fish with someone better than you.  Watch what they do.  Learn as much as you can.  Fish.  Fish.  Fish.

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

I started out by joining my local bass

club as a co-angler.   Then bought my first bass boat as soon as I could afford it.
