How Mark preps for a tournament
I go over old records I have keep. Then I go over paper maps, then google earth maps. Also I browse the internet for old tournament on the body of water I m going to fish . I also check out u-tube Then usually Prefish the weekend before and talk to other anglers at their weight ins. Then on the day before I usually go around running my graph looking for under water structure and fish , making way points. But dont hook any fish that day.

I frist go and congratulate the winner. And see if he would like to share his winning ways . I also Listen to my fellow anglers to see what went right for them, and learn from my mistakes made that day. Remember if your not catching you should be learning!
Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:
Join a Bass club or 2. Then fish as a non boater & fish with everyone. Now watch, listen, ask question and learn! You can learn all kinds of tips and Techiques. plus and make alot of new friends
