What Brian does for a living:

I work for Covington Electric Coop in Enterprise Al as Apprentice Lineman

What you should know about Brian:

I'm 26 years old I'm a lineman a local cooperative. I have a strong passion for bass fishing and it become one of my favorite things to do. I started tournament fishing 2 years ago and done well  for my first few years. I won a few local buddy tournaments and enjoyed the competition.

How Brian started fishing

I started fishing as a kid in farm ponds and fish at my grandmothers lake house on Lake Gantt.  My uncle fished tournaments and I was always very interested in fishing one one day. When I turned 24 I purchased my first bass boat and began to fish the local bass tournaments. I fished the first year with my uncle. He showed me the ropes as of how things worked.

As my second year approached, I had a good friend Sam Cooper that took me in and thought me a lot about using different baits and other techniques during the fall. Before the next season that year started out great about 3 tournaments in my boat broke down and missed the rest of that season.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

My goal is to have fun and believe in myself everyday and maybe get a few sponsors to help me with fishing gear so I continue doing what I love

Favorite way to fish

My favorite style of fishing in a topwater frog in the morning

I love this style because of the big blow ups gets me pumped

Most exciting fishing experience

The most exciting experience was when I got the 3rd place finish my first ABA event I ever fished at Lake Jordan last season

How Brian preps for a tournament

The week before a tournament i will start thinking of things that has worked for me in the past then I think of the time of year weather conditions water temperatures etc most of the time I have some real confidence baits that I know I should catch fish on that time of year

Three favorite search baits

Spinnerbait,Square bill crankbait, swim jig

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

My best tournament finish was at lake Jordan I was using a drop shot most of the day caught my biggest fish using the drop shot but I caught my last keeper on a 5 XD crank bait

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Most challenging thing for me is weather changes the day of tournament

When tournaments don't go my way

I always try to keep my head up WIN OR LOSE can't when them all
