How Kelly started fishing
I Been fishing for as long s I can remember . I grew up in colorado so did alot of trout fishing .
I saw a bassmaster tournament on tv one day and thought thats what I want to do,eventually I got to do my first tournament
Aspirations or goals with fishing
MY goal is to make it to a championship and have a shot at the win.
Favorite way to fish
That would have to be soft plastic whether its a tube,a wacky rig,senko.or just a creature bait.
They are my confidence lures from shallow to deep
Most exciting fishing experience
How Kelly preps for a tournament
Alot of map reading. I live in colo so prefishing really isnt there I only get about a half day of practice fishing in.
Three favorite search baits
Square bills ,spinnerbaits , and top water a buzzbait or spook
Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing
Mine is not knowing the lakes.
When tournaments don't go my way
Go back over the day and reflect on what i did right and what i did wrong and try to correct it for the next outing.
Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:
Always fish your strong technique and have confidence in it. You can always improve on other techniques when just out on the lake or in practice.
