What you should know about Curtis:
I have been fishing all my life and that is probably what has keeped me sane all these years. I have been married all of my adult life and have two boys that are men and are living their dreams with their on families. I have three grandchildren and they are the light of my wife and my lives.
How Curtis started fishing
My father and grand father, started fishing in Florida in the mid 60's. I enjoy Tournaments especialy when they are well orginized.
Aspirations or goals with fishing
To enjoy every minute of it
Favorite way to fish
Soft plastics and jigs because it alows me to relax while I am fishing for the fun of it or while in a tournament.
Most exciting fishing experience
Catching a 15 pound large mouth around 32 years ago.
How Curtis preps for a tournament
Get rested and eat a good dinner the night before and something small the morning of the tournament. Make sure I have a game plan.
Three favorite search baits
Carolina Rig, Crank Bait, Worm
Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.
I have finished first in a lot of tornaments and they were all good and most of them were won on soft plastics.
Most challenging part of tournament fishing
Weather
