My Sponsors

No sponsors other than my wife....she allows me to do what I like to do!

What Daniel does for a living:

Work.....Unfortunately it's not fishing!

What you should know about Daniel:

How Daniel started fishing

Aspirations or goals with fishing

My goal is to win tournaments and get better.

Favorite way to fish

My favorite way of catching fish is with a rod and not with a net for my partner! Just kidding, I don't mind netting their fish.

Most exciting fishing experience

How Daniel preps for a tournament

I bring a little bit of everything.  You never know what the fish want that day or what your boater will want to be doing. Plan to do everything so you won't be watching your partner catch all the fish.

Three favorite search baits

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

The most challenging is making the best of the cards you are dealt.  I have fished as a co-angler for years and had to adapt to what my boater does.  I have learned several techniques from fishing as a co-angler and made a lot of friends.

When tournaments don't go my way

You chalk it up as an experience.  Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. Learn from your mistakes and what conditions you deal with.

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Fish some tournaments as a co-angler.  You don't need a boat to be able to fish and you will learn something every time you go. Some things you will want to remember and others you would love to forget!  Fishing as a co-angler is a good experience and you will meet some great people.
