I work hard and play hard..I am an avid Fresh and Saltwater Angler of more than 40 yrs,
I Love my Wife , Daughter and Family and I’m always looking forward to getting out on the water and Catching fish.
How Chris started fishing
My Dad took me as a child ....from trout ponds at 3-4 yrs old to farm ponds and creek fishing at 6-7 yrs of age, Got to grow up on a 30 Acre neighborhood lake which really helped in honing my skills at Bass fishing from a young age thru my high school years.
Aspirations or goals with fishing
I’ll go wherever it takes me... I’m a competitive spirited man and enjoy tournament fishing but a day of fun fishing on a small reservoir or wading a creek or river is just as rewarding. My aspiration in fishing is that I hope to be able to enjoy it as I always have until my final time here on this Earth.
Favorite way to fish
Power fisherman all the way.
Most exciting fishing experience
Hard to call it , there’s Been a few times on the water that were similar in excitement, 1981 at 10 yrs old I caught my first big bass over 5 Lbs. on a Rapala Minnow..1998 I landed a 135 lb Blue Marlin in Hawaii, My PB Largemouth, 11.10 lb. while shallow cranking in December 2005 , Best 5 Largemouth @ 37 lbs on an Electric only reservoir in 2013 which was the Best day of bass fishing in my Life. Seeing my wife hook and land her largest solo 33†Redfish on Mosquito Lagoon May of 2021.
How Chris preps for a tournament
Prefish if possible , Clean up the boat , Charge Batteries, Respool if needed , swap out baits , get my day box and necessary gear organized , look at old notes, current reports and weather , visualize and set a plan in motion , get a good nights sleep if possible.
