How Chad started fishing
My grandfather got me "hooked" at a young age and I have never looked back. I started tournament fishing when I was 16 yrs old. I love the competition and friendships that developed over the years.
Aspirations or goals with fishing
To be competitive at whatever level I am fishing at. I want to spend more time fishing once I retire from the Air Force and become a more vesitile and competitive fisherman. I also want to pass on my passion for fishing to others.

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.
Most challenging part of tournament fishing

When tournaments don't go my way
Learn from my mistake(s) and brush it off and get ready for the next event. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!!
Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:
ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!! If you go into a tournament thinking you are gonna do bad.....then you have already sealed your fate mentally. Maintain a positive mental attitude no matter how bad the fishing is going because you could be digging a ditch or shoveling snow somewhere......FISH ON!!!
