What you should know about Robbie:

How Robbie started fishing

Ever since I caught my first perch I was hook as a little boy. As I got older I wanted to fish and catch bigger fish so I fished from the shore line of many lakes and ponds. Got into Tournament Fishing because I thought I could take all my past experiences and put them to use and a chance to get on a lake and fish with others

Aspirations or goals with fishing

Favorite way to fish

Topwater fishing because I feel like I can get the bait in spots where I think the fish are

Most exciting fishing experience

How Robbie preps for a tournament

Three favorite search baits

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

I was fish in Cedar Creek lake in June throwing wacky style worm under the docks getting that worm way up under there having it slowly sink down.I was catching lots of good size fish each time and catching the big bass of the tournament and winning first place in the tournament.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Fishing from the back of the boat not able to fish the way I like to or my style of fishing.

When tournaments don't go my way

Sometimes I get frustrated with the outcome of a tournament wondering why I couldn't get anything going or a fish to bite.  But I can't wait to get back on the water try again

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Watch and learn from other Anglers ask questions and just have fun

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

Read and practice different techniques on the lake
