Pure Performance Marine, Advantage Boat Center, Abu Garcia/Berkley, Wealth EP, Georgia BASS Nation

What Craig does for a living:

What you should know about Craig:

Try to be very Diverse Fisherman.  Spots or Largemouth - Finesse to Braid.   Fairy Wands to Broomsticks

How Craig started fishing

Started Pond Fishing as a Kid.   Been "Hooked" ever since.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

Move to Boater and Fish full time soon

Favorite way to fish

Love Topwater fishing...

Most exciting fishing experience

I missed BASS Nation National by 4 ounces (finished 2nd in state of GA) twice.     Won Hartwell ABA in 2019.

How Craig preps for a tournament

Don't have much time for prep right now with kids and family - looking forward to having more time to devote for more prep.

Three favorite search baits

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Cold Muddy Water.

When tournaments don't go my way

Missed AOY due to boater mechanical breakdown in 3rd tourney of series.   Took a zero.  Would have won AOY by 10 plus points without that zero.  (I caught the fish, had to release them)

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Respect your elders and other boaters.   Concerned about HS fisherman not being taught about encroachment and finding your own area to fish and distance from another boat.

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

Keep two spinning rods at all times for shakey head, drop shot or ned rig for when it gets tough.   If 3 fish tourney, fish for 3 big bites.
