What Jeremy does for a living:

What you should know about Jeremy:

How Jeremy started fishing

I been tournament fishing since I was 15 years old. I just really enjoy the competion and friends made over the years.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

Favorite way to fish

My favorite way to catch then is ever how they are biting.

Most exciting fishing experience

This a toss up between a 7lb smallmouth caught on  6lb test line at Pickwick or my PB a 8lb 14 oz large mouth on 10lb test line at Santee Cooper.

How Jeremy preps for a tournament

I mainly go off of conditions, history and research. Then make adjustments as needed.

Three favorite search baits

I like to use several baits for searching and it depends on the conditions .

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

I had 24lbs and some change with a pair of 6lbers at Guntersville in a Bfl for a 4th place finish in which I placed high than several current tour pros.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Time off work to travel and funding.

When tournaments don't go my way

I try to make it a learning experince to be better prepaired for the next time. Even after the 35 years of experience I am still learning.

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

The best advice I can is to put in the work if you want to sucede, but do not forget to have fun and enjoy it regaurdless the outcome.

Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

Learn to be flexable is the best thing do not get locked in one bait or presentation. Soft plastic baits of all kinds rigged texas rig, carolina rig, or weightless are usually good options.
