Frank Ramsey Wins Santa Rosa

Frank Ramsey Wins Santa Rosa

Division 60- New Mexico, March 13, 2010......Frank Ramsey of El Paso Texas won a close one on Lake Santa Rosa by a mere .02 ounces.  Frank is one step closer to the ABA National Championship with a 1st Place finish. Div 60 has some great option pots for its Anglers.  Frank won $962 for his 1st place finish (AFT plus two option pots and the Lock-n-Haul incentive), his 4 bass weighed in at 8.45 pounds.  L. A. Sevilla took second, earning $370 (AFT plus one option pot) with a weight of 8.42 pounds. Jean Lemelin had 5.18 pounds for a third place finish taking home $145 (AFT plus one option pot).  Russ Nielson weighed in 4.53 pounds for a forth place finish winning $71. Big Bass went to Frank Ramsey with a 2.86 pound largemouth making for a very nice payday.

These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in the division’s two-day championship and the American Fishing Tour National Championship that will be held this fall.

The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to a district championship and the top anglers from the district advance to a national tournament held in the fall.
