Brent Tullis Takes First Place at Allatoona

From Division 125  North Georgia Nov 7 2009   Brent Tullis is one step closer to the ABA National Championship with a 1st Place win and $705 in the American Fishing Tour bass tournament held on Lake Allatoon this past weekend . Brents 5 bass limit weighed in at 11.45lb.  Second place went to Mike Robinson with a weight of 9.76, third place was Randall Woodham with a weight of 9.70.  Big bass was awarded Brent Tullis catching a 3.77 pound spot.

These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in division’s two-day champion and the American Fishing Tour National Championship that will be held this fall.  Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.

The top five anglers were:
1. Brent Tullis            11.45 lbs.
2. Mike Robinson         9.76 lbs.
3. Randall Woodham   9.70 lbs.
4. Brian Cox                8.42 lbs.
5. John Gregory         8.24 lbs.

Conditions: Blue bird skies and very little wind.  Temperature in the mid 30's at the beginning warming to the high 60's by the end of the day.

Next Divisional Tournament: This division’s next tournament will be December 12 on Lake Allatoona at Gatewood ramp in Bartow County Park and Camp Ground

The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship.
