Conditions: Cold and raining to include a few thunder storms. Water temp ranged from 51 degrees to 54 degrees. Water clarity varied from clear to stained depending on how far you ran up the river.
Winning Strategy: Jermaine fished shallow all day working the banks located around Big Island. Fishing was tough but Jermaine was able to coax two very respectable largemouth’s to bite a Zoom Worm.
Lake Conchas is one of the largest lakes in New Mexico. The lake is 25 miles long and has 60 miles of varied shoreline. Conchas is a very scenic lake with secluded coves, canyons, sandy beaches set to a desert landscape. The site of ancient petroglyhs, lot of marine fossils and of course tales of Spanish Conquistadors Conchas was built in the 1930s.
