The top 5 anglers were:
1. Tobey Slagle 13.02 lbs.
2. Pat Chapin 11.61 lbs.
3. Mike Tamburello 11.54 lbs.
4. Louie Bernardo 11.23 lbs.
5. Jay Guidaboni 11.20 lbs.
Conditions: We had 75 degree air temps w/sunny skies, 50% humidity. Water temps were in the low 70s.
Winning Strategy: Tobey's initial pattern was fishing docks for the better part of the day, skipping a 3/8 oz. black jig. When the wind picked up he went to a War Eagle 1/2 oz. white/chartreuse spinner bait. When that bite slowed, he went back to his original pattern, culled out 4 fish & that decision sealed the win
Next Divisional Tournament: Division 5's second 2014 early bird will be contested on Long Pond, Harwich, Massachusetts, on October 6, 2013 & will be launched at the Harwich Town ramp.
