Doug Shrum brought in 5 bass that weighed 12.98 lbs and took home $502 for first place. Doug caught his fish jigs and speed craws. Jonathan Evans hauled in second place with a total weight of 10.95 lbs and Ken Kesner rounded out the top three with 10.14 lbs. Napoleon Ellis caught a 5.41 pound bruiser to take the Big Bass of the tournament.

Division 47 of American Bass Anglers held its first qualifying tournament of the 2013 season on the Arkansas River launching out of the Pine Bluff harbor 29 Sep 2012. Overcast skies and wind were prevalent throughout the day. Anglers mentioned they caught fish in a variety of different ways indicating the typical transition period from summer to fall patterns. There was an abundant number of spotted bass weighed-in indicating they have strapped on their fall feed bags. 22 anglers weighed-in 72 fish for a total weight of 132.49 lbs.
