Taking third place was a first time ABA competitor and new member Brandon Owens. Brandon caught a five bass limit weighing 8.30 pounds and earned a check for $123.00.
In fourth place, Dwane Rogers of Euharlee, Georgia caught a five bass limit weighing 8.25 pounds with a 3.53 pound kicker that took the Big Bass honors. Dwane pocketed a check for $97.00 with his finish plus an extra $130.00 for Big Bass.
These anglers accrued valuable points towards the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round Fish-Off. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA AFT National Championship Tournament.
