The top five anglers were: 1. Sean Hurley 14.94 Lbs. 2. Chris Bielert 14.46 Lbs. 3. Todd Rose 14.12 Lbs. 4. Abe Kalachman 13.52 Lbs. 5. Tom Sweeney 11.45 Lbs
Conditions: It was typical weather conditions for the end of June. It was bright and sunny with the temperature rising into the low 90’s by afternoon. It was also a typical pre-weekend 4th of July recreational boater field day with numerous large pleasure boaters, ski-doo’s and water skiers. This made boat positioning and control more difficult as the waves from those big boats kept the fisherman bobbing up and down.
Winning Strategy: Sean’s main presentation was a wacky rigged 5 inch green with red flake senko on very light line. He pitched the bait under docks and in and around the grass mats.
Next Divisional Tournament: This division’s next tournament will be July 21, 2012 on Connecticut River at the Haddam Meadows launch ramp.
