Tennessee Central and Alabama North head to Lake Chickamauga for Area 1 Championship


The Ram Truck Open Series Tennessee Central Division and Alabama North Division will hold their final event of the 2017 season on September 9th -10th on Lake Chickamauga.

The competitors will launch from Dayton Boat Dock landing in Dayton, Tennessee. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:45am or safe light on days one and two. The weigh in will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. All anglers will compete both days of the event. There will NOT be a cut in the field. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday September 8th at the ABA stage trailer at Dayton Boat Dock. Registration for this event ends at 6:00pm on Friday September 8th with the meeting and partner pairing starting at 6:30pm local time.  To register for this event see https://www.americanbassanglers.com/proddetail.php?prod=8796 

All anglers are required to have a Tennessee fishing license.

Anglers fishing the Boater division may weigh in up to 5 bass each day at least 12 inches for spotted bass, 15 inches for Largemouth bass and 18 inches for Smallmouth with only (1) Smallmouth in their possession. Co anglers may weigh in up to 3 bass each day at the same length requirements.

To qualify Anglers must have fished a total of three events within a division or a combination of four events within the two divisions.  To enter anglers fishing the Boater division pay $300.00 and Co anglers pay $150.00. 

First place boater is guaranteed a minimum of $10,000. First place Co angler is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.

Also, the top 20 boaters and the top 20 co anglers from the two-day event will qualify for the Ray Scott Championship on the Red River in April 2018.

In addition to cash and prizes for top finishes, boaters and co anglers fishing this tournament and Ram Truck Open events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, Motorguide, T-H Marine, Abu Garcia, Maui Jim and Livingston Lures.
