Running out of Moundwood State Park in Lakeview, OH, Logan caught five bass weighing 10.46 pounds including a 3.84-poind kicker. For the Boater Division victory, he  took home a check for $5000 and an additional $490 for Big Bass.

“I lost a good fish first thing this morning and I worried about it all day, but I caught most of my fish on a skinny dipper and a Yamamoto D-shad. About 1:00pm I got on a frog bite and I culled three times. I had a good day fishing and caught a lot of keepers. It feels good to win $5000 at this event.”  Logan said.

“I caught my fish flipping matted grass and lily pads.” Colwell said.

Darrell Gallagher of Maplewood, OH placed third for the boaters with five bass going 9.31 pounds. He earned $600 for his catch.

“I caught my fish flipping a jig in the lily pads.” Gallagher said.

“I was fishing the game preserve area of the lake and I caught my fish today on a Senko and a jig. I caught two fish this morning and one fish just before check-in this afternoon.”  Cruse said.

Taking second for the co-anglers, Chad Buzard of Delphos, OH brought in a three-bass division limit weighing 5.92 pounds. He collected $250 for the effort.

“I missed two fish late in the day that would have helped me. I caught two fish flipping pads and one on a crank-bait.” Buzard said.
