I was fishing shallow and caught my fish by 9:30 this morning,” stated Boggs.

Troy Hollowell of Paducah, Kentucky took third for the Boaters with five bass going 23.43 pounds taking home $600. “I threw a swim jig and a jigging spoon today to catch my fish.  I caught my fish really early and then it slacked off a bit until about an hour before weigh in,” said Hollowell.

Taking second for the Co-Anglers, Todd House of Hawesville, Kentucky brought in a three-bass division limit weighing 12.13 pounds including a 5.58-pound kicker. He collected $400 for the effort. “I caught my fish today using a Strike King KVD Jerkbait in about 15 feet of water. I caught my biggest fish at the start of the tournament and thought it was going to be a good day, but I only caught three fish all day,” House said.

Todd Mowery of Munford, Tennessee placed third among the Co-Anglers with three bass going 10.88 pounds and earned $350. “I caught my fish pretty early in the day. I was using a red rattletrap and was able to cull a few times,” Mowery stated.
