Running out of Moors Resort in Gilbertsville, KY, Robertson caught five bass weighing 33.55 pounds with a 7.95 - pound kicker. He took home $5,000 for his efforts.

“I caught my fish today using a Strike King KVD Jerkbait and a Booyah one knocker. I caught a few of my fish earlier and it slacked off a bit so I headed south and got lucky. I was fishing in about 6 feet of water today,” Robertson said.

In second for the Boaters, Drew Boggs of Lebanon, Tennessee. He landed a five-bass tournament limit going 23.97 pounds. He collected $800 for the effort. “I caught three of my bass using a redeye shad. I caught the other two flipping a Jingo Jiggy Weight with a tube crawl. I was fishing shallow and caught my fish by 9:30 this morning,” stated Boggs.

Troy Hollowell of Paducah, Kentucky took third for the Boaters with five bass going 23.43 pounds taking home $600. “I threw a swim jig and a jigging spoon today to catch my fish.  I caught my fish really early and then it slacked off a bit until about an hour before weigh in,” said Hollowell.

David Gnewikow of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee took fifth with a five bass limit going 18.71 pounds.

In the Co-Angler Division, Kirk Lafferty of Columbia, Tennessee won with three bass going 12.53 pounds. He sealed his victory with a 5.50-pound kicker to pocket a check for $1,200.

“I used a greenpumpkin swimjig. I caught them in about 20 feet of water. I caught them around midday and caught about 10 keepers,” stated Lafferty.

Taking second for the Co-Anglers, Todd House of Hawesville, Kentucky brought in a three-bass division limit weighing 12.13 pounds including a 5.58-pound kicker. He collected $400 for the effort. “I caught my fish today using a Strike King KVD Jerkbait in about 15 feet of water. I caught my biggest fish at the start of the tournament and thought it was going to be a good day, but I only caught three fish all day,” House said.

Todd Mowery of Munford, Tennessee placed third among the Co-Anglers with three bass going 10.88 pounds and earned $350. “I caught my fish pretty early in the day. I was using a red rattletrap and was able to cull a few times,” Mowery stated.

Ethan Futrell of Cadiz, Kentucky finished in fifth place with three bass at 9.94 pounds.
