Team of Dave Gunderman and Nancy Rainer Win at Clarks Hill

From Division 11, May 12, 2012, South Carolina – Dave Gunderman and Nancy Rainer from North Carolina and Georgia are now one step closer to the American Couples Series Championship with this 1st Place win and $600 in the American Couples Series Team tournament held on Clarks Hill this past weekend. Dave and Nancy’s five bass limit weighed in at 17.41 pounds. The second place team was Foster and Lenora Key from Trenton, South Carolina with a weight of 14.41 pounds. The third place team was Rick and Tammy Jones from Taylorsville, North Carolina with a total weight of 12.78 pounds. Big bass was awarded on the ladies side to Nancy Rainer with a 5.63 pound bass and on the gentlemen’s side it was Foster Key with a 5.72 pound bass. Bernie and Julie Dreher were the winners of the drawing for one-free night at the Jameson Inn in Anderson, South Carolina.

These teams are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in National Championship that will be held this fall.

Mark & Amy Shannon Take First Place at Logan Martin

From Couples Central Alabama Division 1, May 12, 2012 - Mark and Amy Shannon are one step closer to the ABA National Championship with a first place win and $630 in the American Fishing Tour bass tournament held on Logan Martin Lake this past weekend. Five bass limit weighed in at 11.75 pounds. Second place went to Michael & Misty DeRamus with a weight of 11.12 pounds. And third place wemt to Adren & Lynda Wheeler with a weight of 9.45. Woman’s big bass was awarded was to Diane Hill for catching a 3.74 pound large mouth. Men’s big bass went to Mark Shannon with a 4.09 large mouth.

These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in division’s two-day champion and the American Fishing Tour National Championship that will be held this fall. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.

Team of Brooke and Wes Ward Win at Wheeler

From North Alabama Division 7, April 28, 2012 - Brooke and Wes Ward are now one step closer to the American Couples Series Championship with their first place finish in the American Couples Series team tournament held on Wheeler Lake this past weekend. Brook and Wes’s five bass limit weighed in at 18.02 pounds. The second place team was Marie and Dennis Edgil with a weight of 14.98 pounds. In third place was the team of Christie and Benjie Seaborn with a total of 14.43. The award for big bass on the women’s side went to Marie Edgile with her 5.97 pound lunker, and Wes Ward with a 5.09 pound bass for men’s big fish award.

Team of Greg Gizzi and Randine Langan Win at Pueblo Reservoir

From Colorado Division 13, May 6, 2012 - Greg Gizzi and Randine Langan from Widefield Colorado are now one step closer to the American Couples Series Championship with this first place win and $360 in the American Couples Series Team tournament held on Pueblo Reservoir this past weekend. Greg and Randines 5 bass limit weighed in at 9.47 pounds. The second place team was Chad & Stephanie Brekke from Windsor Colorado with a weight of 6.39 pounds. The third place team was Howard and Susan Russell from Pueblo Colorado with a total weight of 3.83 pounds. Big bass was awarded to Greg Gizzi with a 2.77 pound bass.
