Foli wraps up Indiana regular season with a win
ATHENS, Ala. – Luke Foli wrapped up the regular divisional season with a win during the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Indiana Division 7 tournament, held Aug. 11, 2012, on the Ohio River.
Running out of Lawrenceburg City Ramp, the Granger, Ind., angler caught four bass weighing 5.78 pounds. He anchored his bag with a 1.95-pounder to seal the Boater Division victory.
In second for the boaters, Ronnie Getz of Sunman, Ind., found three keepers for 4.10 pounds with a 1.75-pound kicker. Tom Forrester of Bloomington, Ind., placed third with three bass and 3.77 pounds, followed by Shawn Bruntlett of Indianapolis, Ind., with two bass going 2.75 pounds. Alvin L. Pannell of Indianapolis, Ind., only caught one fish, but his 2.49-pounder took the tournament big bass honors and fifth place in the Boater Division.
In the Co-Angler Division, Richard Michalski of West Port, Ky., landed the second largest bag of the tournament to win his division. He brought in a three-bass division limit weighing 4.50 pounds with a 1.52-pound kicker.
In second place for the co-anglers, Gordon T. Reilly of Indianapolis, Ind., found two keepers weighing 3.84 pounds. He anchored his catch with a 2.02-pounder that earned the division big bass title.
Taking third for the co-anglers, John “Frank” F. Woolard of Bicknell, Ind., brought in two keepers at 2.95 pounds with a 2.01-pound kicker. Mark Voskeritchian of Allen Park, Mich., landed in fourth place with a 1.62-pounder. Christopher C. Hester of Indianapolis, Ind., followed in fifth place among the co-anglers with a 1.50-pounder.
