Anglers in Virginia cash in for more great rewards!
The Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Virginia Division 19 tournament on Smith Mountain Lake proved even more lucrative than usual for Brad Weese and Kevin Hensley.
Running out of Parkway Marina near Hardy on June 9, 2012, Weese of Petersburg, W. Va., took third in the Boater Division with a five-bass tournament limit weighing 12.05 pounds. He anchored his catch with the tournament lunker, a 4.65-pounder.
Weese not only collected a check for his third-place finish and a big bass bonus, he took home generous prizes from Royal Purple as the highest finishing boater participating in Royal Treatment program. A Level 1 Royal Purple participant, Weese received a Royal Purple hat and a gallon of Royal Purple TCWIII oil.
As a Level 4 participant in the Royal Treatment program, Hensley did even better. The Clarksville, Va., angler landed in fourth place among the co-anglers with a three-bass daily division limit weighing 4.40 pounds. As the highest finishing Royal Purple participant in the Co-Angler Division, Hensley received a case of Royal Purple outboard motor oil, a gallon of Royal Purple Max Gear Lube, a Royal Purple Hat, a one-year extension of his American Bass Anglers membership, a seasonal Freedom Pass, and one entry into a Bassmaster Weekend Series tournament of his choice.
