Oklahoma Division Heads to Eufaula
Oklahoma anglers of the ABA Weekend Bass Series will make their second stop of the year at Lake Eufaula on April 26, 2014. The event launch and weigh in will take place at Eufaula Cove in Eufaula, OK. Registration for the event will take place at the City Park Pavilion across the street from Eufaula Cove on Friday, April 25 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. Last year’s Oklahoma event at Lake Eufaula was held on June 15, 2013. Luke Palmer from Coalgate, OK won that event with 15.42 pounds by flipping a black/blue beaver and a junebug/chart brush hog to wood cover. Ronnie Stiek of Skiatook, OK won the co-angler side with 12.29 pounds. Stiek caught his fish by dragging a 7/16 ounce jig with a paca craw trailer.
Anglers that finish the season in the top 40 points rankings will have opportunity to advance to the WBS Regional Championship to compete for two new Triton Boats at Lake Chickamauga in Dayton, TN on September 26 and 27, 2014. Anglers can advance from the WBS Regional Championship to the Ray Scott Championship on Lake Wheeler in Decatur, AL November 12 – 15, 2014.
