Tennessee Central Makes Stop at Old Hickory
Tennessee Central anglers of the ABA Weekend Bass Series will make their second stop of the year at Old Hickory Lake on April 12, 2014. The event launch and weigh in will take place at Saunders Ferry Park in Gallatin, TN. Registration for the event will take place at Gallatin Civic Center in Gallatin, TN on Friday, April 11 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm.

A Tennessee Central event at Old Hickory Lake on June 15, 2013 was won by boater Rodney D. Clawson. Rodney won the event with a 14.74lb bag. Rodney caught his fish last year cranking in 10 to 20 feet of water. Second and third place boaters used crankbaits and carolina rigs to secure their top three finishes. Matt Ellis won the co-angler side with 11.97lb. Matt was throwing a carolina rig and a crankbait for his win.
Anglers that finish the season in the top 40 points rankings will have opportunity to advance to the WBS Regional Championship to compete for two new Triton Boats at Lake Chickamauga in Dayton, TN on September 26 and 27, 2014. Anglers can advance from the WBS Regional Championship to the Ray Scott Championship on Lake Wheeler in Decatur, AL November 12 – 15, 2014 to compete for a $100,000 first place boater prize and a $50,000 first place co-angler prize. Anglers can also cash in on contingency programs such as Triton Gold, Atlas Awards, Royal Purple Awards, and Mercury/Motorguide bonus money.
