Anglers get the Royal Treatment in North Carolina!
ATHENS, Ala. – The Toyota Bassmaster Weekend Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, North Carolina Division 5 two-day divisional championship, held Sept. 14-15, 2013, on High Rock Lake, proved even more lucrative than usual for some anglers.
Running out of Tamarac Marina in Salisbury, N.C., to fish the 15,180-acre lake, Charles L. Bowman II of Kernersville, N.C., placed ninth among the boaters with eight bass weighing 20.02 pounds. As the highest finishing Royal Purple Royal Rewards participant boater in the event, he won a valuable prize package from Royal Purple. As a Royal Purple Level 3 participant, Bowman won a gallon of Royal Purple oil, a Royal Purple hat, a quart of Royal Purple Max Gear Lube, an ABA membership renewal and a Freedom Pass for next season.
In addition, Bowman won another Royal Purple hat, gallon of oil, quart of gear lube, a one-year extension on his ABA membership and another Freedom Pass in a drawing. Mike R. McMillan of Greensboro, N.C., also won a Royal Purple hat, gallon of oil, quart of gear lube and a Freedom Pass in a drawing.
James D. Barber of Charlotte, N.C., placed 10th in the Co-Angler Division during that tournament with four bass weighing 8.04 pounds. As the highest finishing Royal Purple Royal Rewards participant co-angler in the event, he won a valuable prize package from Royal Purple. As a Royal Purple Level 1 participant, he won a gallon of Royal Purple oil and a Royal Purple hat.
