Tony Stoffers Wins Division 73 Two-Day
Tony Stoffers won the AFT Iowa Division 73 two-day, presented by American Bass Anglers, held August 23-24 on the Mississippi River.
Running out of Muscatine, the Davenport, Iowa angler caught nine bass weighing 18.21 pounds. For the victory, Stoffers took home a check for $528. Stoffers caught his fish on plastics.
In second among the competitors, Mike Blaesi, caught seven bass weighing 13.19 pounds.
Taking third place, Chris Yuska caught six bass weighing 12.75 pounds with a 4.15 largemouth for big fish of the tournament.
In fourth place, Bob Peck, of Montpiler, caught six bass weighing 11.14 pounds. Bob Mindock, of Illinois City, Illinois, rounded out the top five competitors with five bass weighing 8.50 pounds.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship for this fall on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN.
