Jones Wins Co-Angler Title in Tennessee Central Two Day

Athens, Al - Jeremy Jones of Nashville, TN weighed in six fish that weighed 24.41 pounds to win the Co-Angler division of the Weekend Bass Series TN Central event on 2014-08-23 on Paris Landing.

Jeremy Jones of Nashville, TN  won the Tennessee Central two day event on Kentucky Lake in Paris, TN. Jones caught a two day total of 24.41 pounds to win the event and $1340.  He used a green pumpkin Zoom worm and a Strike King jig on day one. His day two catch was caught using a spook, a Rat L Trap, and a swimbait.

Second place went to Randy Hill of Murfreesboro, TN for bringing in a two day total of 17.36 pounds. Hill used a Zoom Ol' Monster worm dipped in J.J.'s Magic to catch his bass.

Mike Todd of Cane Ridge,TN finished third with a two day total of 16.70 pounds. Todd used topwater baits on day one and and a brown jig in deep water on day two.

Hunter Bouldin of Rock Island, TN won the AOY point race for the co-angler side of the Tennessee Central division. Bouldin collected 1446 points during the 2014 season.

At the end of the season, the best WBS anglers from across the nation will fish the 2014 Ray Scott Championship, slated for Wheeler Lake in Decatur, Ala., from Nov. 12-18.

As a special Ray Scott Championship bonus, the Boater Division and Co-Angler Division champions will each receive entry fees and sponsorship into the one of two professional bass fishing series of the angler’s choice. The sponsorship includes entry fees into three professional events and sponsorship support. This sponsorship will put the champion within striking distance of one of two professional bass fishing championships.
