Tennessee Central to Wrap Up Season at Paris Landing
Tennessee Central anglers of the ABA Weekend Bass Series will make their final stop of the year at Kentucky Lake on August 23rd & 24th, 2014. This event is the final 2014 event for the Tennessee Central division and will determine the qualifiers for the upcoming WBS Regional Championship at Lake Chickamauga in Dayton, TN on September 26th & 27th, 2014. The event launch and weigh in for this weekend’s event will take place at Paris Landing State Park Marina in Paris, TN. Registration for the event will take place at Paris Landing on Friday, August 22nd, 2014 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Anglers must have participated in two one-day events in this division during the 2014 WBS season to participate in this event. Entry fees for ABA Weekend Bass Series one-day events are $200 for boaters and $100 for co-anglers. Weekend Bass Series events are open to all ABA members. Memberships may be purchased onsite at tournament registration, by calling ABA at (256) 232-0406, or by going to www.americanbassanglers.com. ABA membership dues are $25 per year and include a new member gift packet along with a subscription to American Bass Anglers magazine.
Anglers that finish the season in the top 40 points rankings will have opportunity to advance to the WBS Regional Championship to compete for two new Triton Boats at Lake Chickamauga in Dayton, TN on September 26 and 27, 2014. Anglers can advance from the WBS Regional Championship to the Ray Scott Championship on Lake Wheeler in Decatur, AL November 12 – 15, 2014 to compete for a $100,000 first place boater prize and a $50,000 first place co-angler prize.
Anglers can also cash in on contingency programs such as Triton Gold, Atlas Awards, Royal Purple Royal Treatment, and Mercury/Motorguide bonus money.
