Grover Jones to Direct Northeast GA/SC Division 25
ABA would like to welcome Grover Jones, the new American Fishing Tour Divisional Director for the Northeast Georgia/South Carolina Division 25. Grover has been fishing with ABA for over 10 years and will now be directing the American Fishing Tour events on Lake Hartwell, Russell and Clarks Hill.
Grover is replacing retiring ABA Hall of Fame Member Toby Hicks who has been a director and member for more than 30 years. Toby will still continue to fish as much as he can. If you know Toby, you already know what a treasure he is.
Grover is 43 Maintenance Mechanic who was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. He grew up fishing Neuse and Trent rivers for both Shellcraker and Bass. In the mid-90s Grover's job transferred him to Upstate South Carolina where he started fishing bass tournaments and joined ABA.
"I've fished with some great role model ABA directors over the years Phil Morris, Toby Hicks and Dale Hart", said Grover. "I enjoy the format that ABA has to offer for the weekend anglers. I really look forward to my new role as tournament director and invite all the anglers in my area to come fish with us in the 2015 season. My first event scheduled for the 20th of September 2014".
2015 schedules are now available for many divisions and can be viewed at AmericanBassAnglers.com

The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship for this fall on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN.
