Pat Lowey takes the win on Potomac


Athens, Al - Pat Lowey won the American Fishing Tour Maryland division 11 tournament with 5 bass @ 15.54 lbs. held on Potomac River on 06/29/2014.

On his first win in the AFT Division 11 Pat, Bowie, MD, brought 5 bass to the scale a total weight of 15.54 lbs. Pat caught hisfish throwing Chatter-Baits and Frogs to grass in Quantico and Mattawoman Creeks. Along with taking first place Pat took the Big Bass Pot and was in an Option Pot making bagging a total of $699.00 for a great day on the water.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.

The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship for this fall on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN.
