Last year’s Cedar Creek event held on May 18, 2013 was won by David E. Gillham of Heath, TX. Gillham brought in a 16.14 pound limit that he caught by throwing topwater and a Texas rigged green pumpkin Senko over underwater rocks where had were spawning. Bobby S. Boyd of Kemp, TX won the co-angler side of that event with a limit weighing 11.33 pounds. Boyd used Chatterbaits and Texas rigged Brush Hogs to secure his win.
